PRZ Engineering is an independent and owner-operated engineering consulting firm that is focused on delivering reliable solutions tailored to our clients’ specific needs.
The firm is owned and led by Rafael E. Perez, a civil engineer who has been working in the field since 2013 and became licensed as a professional engineer in 2022. After many years of experience working with established engineering firms, the company was created to offer a more personalized, one-on-one experience.

Centennial Station Condominium
Balcony, walkway, and stairway structural inspections & restoration
Atlanta, GA
Performed structural inspections to analyze any compromised members, safety concerns, and structurally compromised to determine whether restoration or replacement was required. Designed structural repairs for the compromised areas in the walkways and stairways in order to meet safety standards and prevent further damage of the structure.

Balcony structural inspections & restoration design
Atlanta, GA
Conducted structural inspections in order to identify any compromised structural members, safety concerns, and structurally compromised balconies to determine if restoration or replacement was required. Designed restoration for corner balconies, including the addition of columns and a new beam system, to restore the structure to safe conditions.

Water infiltration & balcony damage investigation
Summerville, SC
Directed an engineering team that represented the owner of the property as an expert witness and investigated the source of the water infiltration and structural damage to multiple units in 12 buildings. Selected units with compromised structural damage to have material removed in order to identify the construction defects and provide possible remediations. Provided a detailed investigative report that outlined findings and recommendations.
